Foldable Treadmill in Kenya: A Folding Frame for Small Homes
A foldable treadmill gives you a treadmill when you need it and your floor back when you finish. Ours costs KSh 24,800, folds flat without tools, stores under most beds and sofas, and still runs at up to 14 km/h. We deliver it anywhere in Kenya. Here is how the fold works and where it fits in a small home.
What is a foldable treadmill?
A foldable treadmill is a treadmill with a folding frame. The deck folds flat so you can store it under a bed, behind a sofa or in a cupboard after each session. Ours folds in under 30 seconds without tools, runs at up to 14 km/h and costs KSh 24,800.

How the folding frame works
- Switch it off and unplug it.
- Fold the handrail down, or lift it off for the smallest size.
- Lift the running deck from the front. It hinges up and locks flat.
- Roll it away on the built-in wheels.
There are no tools and no bolts to loosen. After a couple of tries, folding takes under 30 seconds.
Where a small treadmill stores
Folded flat, it slides under most standard beds. Check the gap first if you have a low divan base. It can also stand upright behind a sofa or wardrobe, or in the gap beside a fridge in a bedsitter kitchen. Folded, it takes about the floor space of a large suitcase standing on end.

Folding treadmill vs a fixed treadmill
| Our foldable treadmill | Fixed full-size treadmill | |
|---|---|---|
| Price in Kenya | KSh 24,800 | About KSh 60,000 to over KSh 150,000 |
| Floor space in use | About 1.2 x 0.6 m | About 1.8 x 0.9 m |
| Floor space when stored | Folds flat, under a bed or sofa | Permanent |
| Top speed | Up to 14 km/h | 16 to 20 km/h |
In a studio, bedsitter or shared house, the folding frame often decides whether you can have a treadmill at all. See the full walking pad vs treadmill comparison.
Walk, work and run on one machine
With the handrail down, it walks at 1 to 6 km/h and slides under a desk, so it doubles as an under desk treadmill. With the handrail up, it runs at up to 14 km/h for jogging and intervals. Walking-only folding pads stop at about 6 km/h.
Can you fold it every day?
Yes. The hinge and lock are built for daily folding. Fold it after every session if that suits your home. Folding it away also keeps it out of reach of small children and pets, as our safety guide explains.
